Mayor Pro Tem Laurie Davies
Laurie Davies, our choice for the Laguna Niguel City Council, serves on the Laguna Niguel Traffic and Transportation Commission, she is the Vice President of the Mirador Homeowners Association; an Ambassador for the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce, where she welcomes new businesses to our community and a member of the Laguna Niguel Lion's Club where she assists in fundraising to provide aid for the seeing impaired. She also volunteers at Sea Country Senior Center where she serve lunches to the seniors, as well as actively serves in the social and civic ministry at her church. Laurie's parents instilled the values of hard work and community service. She and her husband, Neil, share these values. Laurie incorporates her commitment to excellence in her efforts to improve our business Community and to work on behalf of our wonderful City.
Her business experience includes serving as a manager for the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dana Point. Laurie then chose to start her own firm in 2001, where she is currently the chief operating officer of a small nationally recognized planning and event business. She earned her BA in Communications from California State University Long Beach. Since 1988, Laurie and her husband Neil have lived and worked in South Orange County. They moved to Laguna Niguel in 1995 and bought their home as the City of Laguna Niguel was continuing to grow. In their spare time Laurie and Neil enjoy getting together with friends, neighbors and walking the City's many hiking trails with their family pet, Daisy.
